To day is Friday... Thank you LORD ! I have had a terrible week . Backed up at work and stilll trying to be positive and pleasant to everyone .. even myself.I am going to spend the weekend trying to arrange things in the Castle. Boy is it a mess. The King will be working on peanuts and tobacco and I will spend the day mopping and cleaning the Castle so that when he comes in after a long days work all will be nice for him to shower and relax. I have so many things and it seems that since the royal robbery I just can't get them back into order. Yes , I am whinning and feeling sorry for myself today. I guess i deserve a day here and there. Wawawawaw!

I've spent alot of time thinking on friends today. Thank all of you who are my friends and for all the joy you bring to my life. There are a few mean people around here always trying to cause trouble . I ask that you pray for them , GOD knows who they are and may be able to touch their hearts and take the troublemaking conflict from their lives. Also pray for my blogfriends Dan & Casey Chappell whose infant child Asher went home to be with Jesus shortly after birth. I think of them so often eachday. They are such a beautiful christian couple. May GOD ease their sorrow.

This weekend it felt so good to back into my semi normal routine. Sunday school was a good lesson this week. I want to study this lesson more. I watched two really good movies this weekend. The first was Coco Channel on Lifetime and the second was the last two parts of Scarlett the sequel to Gone With The Wind. They were both excellent movies. Coco 's life story was very interesting and I don't have to tell you about Scarlett and Rhett. They will be coming tomorrow and putting in the alarm system. I hope a better nights rest is on the way.

Today has been a really odd day for me. I have had feelings that are undescribable to say the least. Anyway , I must be strong and move on for tomorrow is another day which the Lord will make. God is so good to me and has blessed me in so many ways in my 47 years. That makes me happy . I just ask that any that read my blog pray for me and this uneasiness that is with me today. Much love to all.

Well guys , I think the initial shock that we were robbed has been banished from my mind. I just really feel that my family was violated and I am sad for people that feel they have to take from others for their own needs. The items that were stolen were basically mine. All of my jewelry---chest , armoir and all. They did however drop my strand of pearls that the King gave me for an anniversary gift. My most precious item taken was a diamond and pearl necklace that he gave me for our 1st christmas and a diamond heart pendant he gave me when Prince Jordan was born. They were things that I had hoped to oneday pass down to a granddaughter . We do have a Browning gun safe and if they had gotten that they would have been grinning from ear to ear. Of , course I would have to bury the King as all of his hunting apparatus is behind the steel /fireproof walls of Mr. Browning. Thank goodness some of my nicer things were in there also. My heart is so full of sadness for the people that entered my home with evil intentions . I am asking that you pray for them and that God will find a way to help them in their troubled lives.

Well today started off pretty good. Until about 12:30 when my cell rang. Wayne called to tell me that our home had been robbed. The theives took my jewelry box (chest type on legs) and a couple of other smaller ones sitting in the bedroom. Plus they threw the mattress off the bed and went thru all the drawers in the bedroom. More later.

Well it's almost 5:00 p.m. and we are only experiencing a little rain at this point. The forecast is for 2-4 inches. We could surely use the rain without the excess wind. I pray that all in the path of hanna are safe . I am so excited about the upcoming presidential election. I really like what I've heard from Sarah Palin so far and I have always liked and respected John McCain. Mrs. Palin seems to be one of the real people -- Wife , mother of five ,son leaving for Iraq , expectant daughter , new infants with Downs Syndrome and a working mom to boot. Now campaigning for the VP of the USA. I feel that her heart is in the right place and that she wants to make America a better place for her family as well as for the citizens of the USA. John McCain has an unfaltering and undying love for our country and for our Heavenly Father as you could easily see from his speech last night. He is aware that it was by GODs grace the he is here with us and survived the terrible time spent in captivity. May GOD bless them both and guide them and all those who support them in this upcoming important race for the White House.

Look out here comes Hanna ! Boy are Carolina Beach and Wrightsville Beach getting the waves, I was just watching the noon news and they are awesome. Hanna will be there before you know it. My cousin called and offered the King and I tickets to see Brooks & Dunn this Saturday but witht he upcoming weather we decided to bow out gracefully. They might possibly have the concert but I doubt it. May be next time. Better prepare around the house , i.e. H2O and a few groceries just in case. The natives will be going crazy at the grocery and Walmart.

Well the fun has ended and I am back home and at work. Not to say that being at home and work are not fun . Hahaha! WOW -Wrightsville Beach was a beautiful place . As I sat on the balcony overlooking the beach , I was in awe at all the wonder that GOD has provided us to view on a daily basis. HE had such a beautiful vision of what he wanted to share with us. Thank you GOD ! I can only imagine heaven and the beauty that lies there. GOD help others to be thankful for the blessings that you have bestowed upon us and to enjoy the everyday blessing that are sent ou way .

We arrived in Wrightsville about 10pm the condo is great and being with family is even better. We will venture out today and visit Taylor's house . The ocean is slick and the surfers are out hunting for waves. Nicholas woke up with a screaming fit. I thought i was in a combat zone. Michelle and I are enjoying our alone girl time. Magazines and the internet. What more could you ask for. Maybe a pedicure and a little shopping.

This afternoon I will be traveling to Wilson and then on to Wrightsville Beach with my cousin and her family. We always have a great time together and we are more sisters than cousins. We actually call ourselves the sister/cousins. When she was born I was seven years old and felt so lucky to have a real, live dollbaby. I used to pick her up so much that she was sore under her little arms. When I think of her I remember all the fun we have had and laughs that were shared. Now she is a mama of two a 10 yr old Lauren and a 4 yr old Nicholas. I always said that with our age difference I would have my young princes grown and own their own by the time she began her family. Hit the nail on the head! I just adore her kids. They will slways have special places in my heart even when I am lucky enough to become a Grandmother myself. Well I guess this will be last hurrah of the summer for me. The King won't be able to take this royal journey as the crops aare keeping him pretty much tied to the castle . We will however be able to escape in the fall as we celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. ( sure wish I could fit into the same wedding gown) Not !!! Anyway , I love him and he loves me and most of the time we are a happy family . ( Oops , I sound a little reminisent of barney ).. Everyone be safe this Labor Day Weekend. Much love to all!! HRH

Saturday afternoon I was baking cookies and got a pleasant surprise visit from my mother and my grandmother. i was glad to see them both. My mother had said she was planning a trip home but I didn't know what day to expect her. My Grandmother is 88 yrs. old and looks and is doing great. I love her so much . She has always been a stable factor in my life. She now lives in Winterville with my Aunt Tillie and I don't see her as often as I like. I treasure the many many days that we spent together when she lived in Hamilton , which will always be her home. I credit my loving and caring spirit to her influance and guidance over the last 47 yrs. I Love You Grandma Belle !!!

My Saturday morning began by preparing my part of the lunch we were taking to friends. After we arrived we were amazed with the spread we left for the family. I sure hope this is enjoyed by all. Later in the afternoon I had the pleasure of keeping a friends 2 month old - Taylor Grace. She is soooo adorable ! I enjoyed the sweet smiles and the softness of an infant again. Boy has it been a long time since we've had someone that small in our home. The King even talked a little baby talk. He's a softie anyway with babies . (Royal secret)She 's really a good baby. Crys only when hungry/needs changing. Gracie Poodle , however the little Princess of the house was not quite as impressed with the lap holding and attention that the baby was getting. She was like , " Thats my chair and my lap that you are laying in ." Needless to say I think Gracie was quite ammused at this little thing that moved and made noise. When the baby was in the pack & play Gracie would lie next to it and watch her. If she did move , She would bark as an alert . Anyway , I was glad to be able to help my friend Mandy out and give her a few hours of uninteruped sleeep. ( She also has a 7 yr. old and a 1 yr. old )

After reading a friends blog I sat here for a few minutes to really think about what she had said. She was talking to God and asking , "You Love Me" ? It made me think how much He really does love all of us. Yes , All. For a long time as I was growing up I was troubled by the fact that my daddy had gotten killed when I was so young (3) and that I was without a daddy when all my friends had one. I will admit that as a child I would pretend that he was gone away on a long trip and that it was all a bad mistake... he would come back. As I grew I realized that I may not have an earthly dad but that I did indeed have a Father . A Father that loved me and accepted me for the person that HE created me to be . I am thankful to my heavenly Father for all that I have and all that I am . HE does indeed love me . And I do so very much love HIM .

Thursday I found out a friends mother in law passed away and I had bunches of ideas running thru my head ......... What can I do for the family to help ease their loss? This family is new to our community and are really sweet people. So , after pondering I mentioned to two dear friends (Cthat I was going to take a few food items over to the house because I new they were having family coming in from out of town and this would help. My friend , Aunt Deanie , picked up the bbq & chicken with all the trimmings for me in Williamston and she of course had a cake in the freezer read at a minutes notice. So , At 5 pm we went to Oak City and dropped everything off. They were so pleased and appreciative of our gesture. As we were leaving our pastor and one of the deacons had stopped by to visit also. I feel so blessed to be part of a loving church family. You can always count on them. We decided to feed the family on Saturday @ lunch also. I hope this will help them and ease some of their pain . But mostly I hope that they will feel Gods love at work and be blessed. We love them but not as much as HE does.

Going to wilmington for classes. The King will be unable to attend since he is in the early stages of tobacco. We wil vacate together in the fall , probably October. That is when we will celebrate our 25 Anniversary. I know , can you believe it. Where have all the years gone. Please pray for Dan and Casey Chappell. They lost their newborn son Asher Daniel Chappell shortly after birth with complications. He was a beautiful baby. She posted pics today and told of how they were able to have him in the room w/ them thru the night along with family and friends. Mem. service will be on Thurs. in Raleigh. Wish i was able to attend and i hope that one day i will be able to meet them in person. Gotta go ..

Well yesterday I did it. Igot my hair cut really short. I haven't had a cut this short in many years , but I love it. The weater is so warm and my hair is so thick . You do the math. Anyway I'll grow another style in the winter when the weather is cooler . Wayne and Matthew began the process of priming tobacco yesterday too. Two tired guys at the end of the day. Jordan told me this morning that he has joined a gym over in G'vegas and will be buffing up . Look out girls!

OK , where to begin the Royal journey . As many of you know I am a farmers wife in the community of , you guessed it " Spring Green ." My farmer , the King ,and I have 2 adult sons , Prince Matthew who is 24 , and as I might add , becoming quite the mature and focused young adult his father and I have tried to teach him to be . He has begun his own farming career this year with a crop of tobacco and many days of " learning the ropes " from his father . Although I'm sure some of those days he is sure he has a newer more efficent way of running things , but , follows eagerly in his fathers footsteps as he prepares to someday take the bull by the horn. Then we have Prince Jordan , the 20 year old ! Jordan is so much fun , semi mature and semi focused . Shall I just say he is your typical youngman . He is working with NCDOT as a Geo Tech II , Learning and experiencing new things in his job as well as the appreciation of being close to home at night . He spends a few nights each week across the state of NC . This is a great job for him because he has never been one to stay in one place long. Although I miss knowing he is right next door when I finally turn out the lights and settle in for the night I cherish the phone calls I recieve when he is away for a few days. I guess he will always be the "BABY" of which he will remind me . He also has a new toy , a motorcycle , here we go on pins and needles again . You guessed it he outgrew the four wheeler he got when he was 13. Matthew will be getting one soon so double trouble!!! The Princess is a toy poodle named Gracie !!!!!!!!!!!!
